Country News for July 6, 2007

Chris Cagle is currently working on his fourth Capitol Nashville album which will include new single "What Kinda Gone," set to hit radio on July 23. Cagle is scheduled to perform for U.S. military troops in Korea at the end of July. His U.S. tour will begin in August.

Neal McCoy is featured on special edition cans of Old Milwaukee Beer for the second year, which has been distributed in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, parts of Illinois and Western Pennsylvania.

Darrell Scott is scheduled for two shows with podcaster and radio host Wichita Rutherford, including XM's Grand Old Time Machine and bluegrass podcast 5 Minutes with Wichita. Scott also has a new five part mini documentary, Highway 31— Visited, directed by Craig Havighurst of String Theory Media.

Jake Owen will appear for the first time on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown with guest host Suzanne Alexander. He will discuss his role as the opening act for the Brooks & Dunn/Alan Jackson tour and details about his song, "Starting With Me."
